One Tree Hill

I've always love watching One Tree Till.
I was lucky to start watching the series right from the first episode and immediately was falling head over heels w Chad Michael Murray. but of course, that did not last long enough before I went for James Lafferty.

but the recent seasons, after season 5, were so getting lame, perhaps they've graduated from high school, hence, more adult conflicts which don't attract me much.

plus, no more Mr.Murray and Ms.Burton.
Ms. Bush, Mr. Lafferty and Ms. Lenz-Galeotti stayed but no one can pull off OTH like the original casts did.

besides all the drama and love-hexagon, I've always love the quotes in the series, along w awesome, suit-the-scene OSTs. Often I use some of the words and put them in the words of wisdoms' space in school's yearbook.

these are some of my favs, where they're  stuck in corner of my mind

"There is a tide in the affairs of men. Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. But omitted, and the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat, and we must take the current when it serves -- or lose the ventures before us." -- William Shakespeare, "Julius Ceaser"

"E.E. Cummings once wrote; 'To be nobody-but-yourself - in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.'"

"Katherine Anne Porter once said; 'There seems to be a kind of order in the universe…in the movement of the stars and the turning of the Earth and the changing of the seasons. But human life is almost pure chaos. Everyone takes his stance, asserts his own right and feelings, mistaking the motives of others, and his own.'"

"Khalil Gibran once wrote; 'You're reason and your passion are the rudder.. and the sails of your seafaring soul. If either be broken, you can but toss and drift, or else be held at a standstill in mid-seas. For reason, ruling alone, is a force confining; and passion, unattended, is a flame that burn to it’s own destruction.'"

"Henry James once wrote: 'Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact.'"

I should try to get into literature. or maybe I shouldn't.

p/s. Anybody flying out to Japan? I want Norwegian Wood's DVD. hehe
